Abso-forking-lutely.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e– Yes, yes it will, and it will look sick! The clear powder coat is among the strongest “raw” finishes. There is also a layer of grease applied to the inside of the crown and steerer tube to slow the process in the most critical areas. However, if you live in a\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ehumid climate\u003c\/strong\u003e, definitely expect some positive patina. As soon as the clear coat is\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003echipped or scratched\u003c\/strong\u003e, it’s an open invite for the rust worms to start forming. It will be purely visual. It will take many years for it to become structural. Some folks are into it, some aren’t. If you’re lucky, it might even have some small patches of patina from production!
